Category D

The D category includes buses, articulated buses, trolleybuses and articulated trolleybuses.

Technical characteristics of category D motor vehicles:

• There are above eight passenger seats.
• Can tow a light trailer (maximum mass up to 750 kg).

You can train to become a D category driver from the age of 23.5, provided you have held a category B driving licence for at least 1.5 years (provisional licence and limited right to drive are not taken into account).
